Journey Español is a welcoming community within Journey Christian Church for individuals who prefer to worship in Spanish—their heart language. Each week, our dedicated Dream Team provides live, simultaneous interpretation of every part of our worship service, allowing you to fully engage and worship with your church family.
What is the Spanish Interpretation Service?

Each week, our dedicated Dream Team provides live, simultaneous interpretation of every part of our worship service, allowing you to fully engage and worship with your church family.
When is the service available?
Live interpretation is offered during the 10:00 AM service at the Apopka campus. Check out an interpretation device prior to the 10:00 AM service by visiting one of our representatives in the Apopka atrium.
How does it work?
Journey Español is powered by passionate Dream Team volunteers who serve our Spanish-speaking community. Here’s how to participate:
- Arrive early: Stop by the Connections Center at least 15 minutes before service begins.
- Pick up a device: A team member will help you check out a listening device.
- Join the service: Head into the Worship Center and enjoy live interpretation in Spanish through your device.
- Return your device: After service, return your listening device to a team member at the Connections Center.
Devices are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Are Spanish Bibles available?
Yes! We offer free Spanish Bibles. Just stop by the Connections Center before or after service, and a team member will be happy to give you one. If you don’t currently own a Bible in Spanish, we’d love to bless you with one.
Are there opportunities to Serve?
Absolutely! Journey Español offers several ways for you to use your gifts to serve others. To get started, visit our Dream Team page and select “Journey Español” as your area of interest:

What if someone wants to help but doesn’t speak Spanish fluently?
You can still serve by helping distribute listening devices, welcoming attendees, or supporting the logistics of the ministry.
