Dear Journey,
This weekend we are diving into one of the most famous chapters in the entire Bible. Hebrews 11 is all about faith. At first glance, the list might be intimidating, but a closer look brings some incredible encouragement. If your faith is growing strong, or at the moment feels weak, Hebrews has some encouragement for the days ahead.
Last week, we were encouraged not to give up meeting together, so don’t miss this weekend! Maybe a worship song will move your heart. Maybe a friendly face will lift your spirits. Maybe seeing a baptism will restore your hope for the future. Or maybe God’s Word will challenge and strengthen your faith. I don’t know what God has in store for you this week, but I know this: there is power in worshiping with the body of believers. We hope to see you soon!
One last thing. Several of our mission partners were visiting last week. Next year, we hope to take a variety of trips. If you’ve never been on a mission trip, can I personally encourage you to get more information and begin praying about going? Trips like these have changed my life and the lives of so many others. If you’re on the fence, this is a risk you won’t regret. Seeing God working around the world is an amazing thing indeed. Take a look at all the places you can go to at journeychristian.com/missions !
Grace and Peace,
