STEP 1: Cancel Recurring Gift With PushPay
STEP 2: Give Online With Planning Center
- Access your recurring gift by signing in here.
- While in the gift details screen, click the "Cancel" button on the top right corner of the page.
- A notification will appear asking you to confirm that you’d like to cancel your payment schedule, click "Yes."
- Once confirmed, you'll see a notification stating your schedule has been successfully cancelled.
- Visit Planning Center Giving page here to log in and easily create your new recurring donation for Journey Christian Church.

Why did Journey make this switch now?
We recently transitioned many software systems we were using at Journey over to one platform to save money. Planning Center is the Church Management System we are using and giving is built into the platform, which will take the place of PushPay. You will now have one login to get to your Giving and Giving history, Groups, Registrations, and profile information. We know you will love Planning Center which will help us make sure we can better minister to you!
How much does it cost the church to use this platform?
There is a fee per transaction with any system that processes payments. Stripe, the transaction administrator for Planning Center’s Giving system, charges a $0.25 fee for an ACH transfer and a small fee for credit and debit cards. If you would like to cover this fee in your donation, you will be prompted with an option to click the checkbox to “Cover the Fee” and will give you the amount you will pay in addition to your donation. Otherwise, Journey Christian Church will absorb all transaction fees.
What about my giving statement?
You can view all your Giving Statements since 2018 in the Planning Center Giving portal. This change will be seamless with your Giving Statements and donation history.
Is my financial information safe?
Planning Center Giving’s transaction processing partner is Stripe. Stripe offers industry-leading fraud prevention and PCI compliance. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider, the most stringent level of certification available. You can confirm Stripe's certification in Visa's Global Registry of Service Providers.
What kinds of payments can I use with Online Giving?
You can give using your bank account, debit/credit card, and Apple Pay (if using a phone).
When giving with a bank account for the first time, you will need to verify that you own the bank account. Your account will be saved to your donor profile so that you won't have to verify account ownership every time you give.
Can I make recurring gifts?
Absolutely, Planning Center Giving is designed to make recurring gifts easy.
How can I change the amount or payment method of my recurring gift?
You can update your recurring donations by logging into you donor profile here. You can easily edit a recurring donation's payment method or frequency. You can also put recurring donations on hold temporarily, permanently, or delete them altogether.
